Privacy notice
Last updated 6 October 2026. This notice explains what personal data this website and our contact process handle, why, and what your rights are under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible
The controller is Etara Technologies, a privately held business based in Poland, operating the VerityCore product. Contact for all data-protection matters, including requests for our full provider details: contact@etaratechnologies.com. See also the legal notice.
What this website does not do
- It sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking pixels, advertising or social-media plug-ins.
- It has no user accounts and no forms that send data to us. The request composer on the home page runs entirely in your browser; it prepares text that you copy or open in your own e-mail application. Nothing is transmitted until you send that e-mail yourself.
- We do not profile visitors and make no automated decisions about anyone.
Data processed when you visit
The site is static files delivered by Amazon Web Services (Amazon CloudFront in front of Amazon S3 in the EU, Frankfurt region). To deliver a page, AWS processes your IP address and the technical request data every web server sees. We have not enabled access logging for this site, so we do not keep visitor logs ourselves. CloudFront serves from edge locations in Europe and North America; AWS acts as our processor under the AWS Data Processing Addendum, which includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for any transfer outside the EEA.
The page loads the Public Sans typeface from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore requests font files from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details. Google states that it does not use Fonts requests for profiling. We plan to serve the font from our own hosting, after which no third-party request remains.
The demo video is served from our own hosting, not from a video platform.
Data processed when you write to us
| What | Your name, company, e-mail address and whatever you include in the message (for example a description of your installation or documents). |
|---|---|
| Why | To answer you, to arrange a demo or an evidence readiness assessment, and to prepare and perform a contract if you ask for one. |
| Legal basis | Steps at your request before entering a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)); otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us (art. 6(1)(f)). |
| Where | Our mailbox is provided by Google Workspace. Google acts as our processor; transfers to the United States are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the Standard Contractual Clauses in Google's data-processing terms. |
| How long | Correspondence that does not lead to a contract is deleted no later than 24 months after our last exchange. If a contract follows, we keep the related correspondence for the duration of the contract and the statutory retention periods that apply to it. |
| Who else | Nobody. We do not sell, rent or share enquiry data with third parties, other than the hosting and mail providers named above acting on our instructions, or where the law requires it. |
If you send us documents for an evidence readiness assessment, a separate non-disclosure agreement and data-processing agreement govern their handling. This notice covers the website and initial contact only.
Your rights
You may ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, for its correction or erasure, for restriction of processing, for a copy in a portable format, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to contact@etaratechnologies.com; we answer within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, uodo.gov.pl); you may also contact the authority of the EU country where you live or work.
Changes
We update this notice when the website or our processing changes, for example when the font is self-hosted or when the company completes its registration. The date at the top tells you which version you are reading.
